YOOCHA MATCHA® has a sweet, fragrant flavour with a pleasant touch of bitterness. Once whisked, it develops a thick and creamy consistency with a smooth, velvety finish.
For a sweeter drink, combine it with milk and your preferred sweetener.
How to prepare traditional matcha
- Sift 2–3 grams of matcha into a bowl.
- Add approximately 60–80 ml of hot water.
- Use water at around 70–80°C—do not use boiling water.
- Whisk rapidly in a “W” motion until smooth and frothy.
- Enjoy immediately.
How to prepare a matcha latte
- Add 3–4 grams of matcha to a cup or bowl.
- Pour in 40–60 ml of warm water.
- Whisk until completely smooth.
- Add approximately 180–220 ml of hot or cold milk.
- Add ice for an iced matcha latte.
- Sweeten according to taste.
For café use, adjust the quantity according to your serving size and preferred flavour strength.
